Wizz Air will reintegrate the Budapest – Tel-Aviv route into its Hungarian schedule, operating the route three times a week – on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays – starting from March 1.
Israeli Flights Return to Wizz Air’s Schedule
From the spring of 2024, Wizz Air will also commence flights to Tel-Aviv from other airports including Budapest, Bucharest, Krakow, London-Luton, Rome-Fiumicino, and Sofia.
- Route: Budapest – Tel-Aviv
- First flight: March 1, 2024
- Most affordable ticket price: 26 EUR
As it’s well known, international air traffic to Israel collapsed after the country was hit by a terrorist attack and was drawn into war. Military operations are still ongoing, so the resumption of these flights will likely initially attract not tourists seeking rest but those visiting relatives, on business trips, and adventure-seeking disaster tourists. We hope that the tense situation will soon be resolved and Israel will once again become an ideal travel destination from winter to summer for everyone.
